Opexperienced Helgeland from the sea gap on a clear winter's day in February. The cockpit in the kayak is cozy and with warm clothes under the dry suit, winter paddling is wonderful. The silence, light and nature make a strong impression. With clear weather, you can also experience the northern lights.
PAt the winter paddling meeting, we have emphasized good food and warm beds. On Saturday, Stenneset Mat og Vinhus offers a 4-course dinner at Torshavn and we sleep in good warm beds at Rådhusplassen Overnatting. On Friday we prepare dinner together.
VOur experienced guides will ensure that you are safe on the water with well-planned routes based on the participants' experience and weather conditions. Based on Lurøya, we have good opportunities to find good paddling conditions based on different wind directions.

If you want to rent a kayak and equipment, please contact us. A packing list will be sent out to all participants well in advance of the event. Wet card required. Binding registration. We recommend that participants have travel insurance that provides reimbursement for e.g. disease.

Transport to Lurøya:
From Helgeland, it is easiest to drive FV17 to Stokkvågen in Lurøy Kommue. From here there are ferries and fast boats to Onøy.
Road connection between Onøy and Lurøya.
Ferry times Friday: 1600, 1655 and 1930
Return Sunday: 1510 and 1950
The ferry trip takes 40 minutes.
From Bodø you take a boat directly to Onøy. We can assist with transport from Onøy to Lurøy.
